"Through Thorns to the Stars" (Per Aspera ad Astra) - the all-Russian art festival for gifted children-migrants took place in 2001 with the assistance of Moscow government and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. More than 200 children participated in this event. Strict professional jury (Moscow Culture Foundation, "New Names" Foundation) awarded 32 winners. The final round took place at a beautiful concert hall of Pushkin’s Museum.
"Love Me, Motherland!"
"Love Me, Motherland!" - the first all-Russia literature contest among children-migrants took place in 2002 with the support of the UNHCR and Soros Foundation. Organizational support was provided by the Russian Union of Journalists. The jury headed by one of the children’s favorite writer - Grigory Oster awarded 13 winners with diplomas.
